About Essential Oils

Purify is a doTERRA essential oil blend composed of select essential oils known for their cleansing, purifying, and protecting properties

Essential oils are extraordinary substances with thousands of years of historical use for treating everything from an infected wound to the plague. There are 188 references to essential oils in the Bible and they were even part of the ingredients used by ancient Egyptians in the embalming process for mummification. Essential oils have been used traditionally in Greek, Roman, and Chinese medicine.

Essential oil molecules are unique in that they have the ability to penetrate cell membranes and diffuse throughout the skin, tissues, and blood. They can travel throughout the body in just minutes, whether applied to the skin or inhaled. They are metabolized by the body just like other nutrients. Essential oils have been studied for their ability to support important bodily functions such as the secretion of neurotransmitters, antibodies, endorphins, hormones, and enzymes.

So incorporating essential oils into your daily lives isn’t such a bad idea!

Meet our guest speaker, Chua Hong Leong

In these workshops, Hong will guide you to a deeper understanding of your Chakras and how you can improve your health and wellbeing by incorporating the magic of essential oils.

About Cacao Circles

IMG_0411

Sacred cacao circles are beautiful rituals where people gather together and drink cacao, a heart expanding elixir, which is also known as ‘Food of the Gods’. Raw cacao has many benefits as it is high in magnesium, iron, zinc, antioxidants, and much more. It is an anti-depressant and some say, a natural stimulant!

We sit together in circle and honor the cacao spirit while enjoying each others company and sending the energies of love and gratitude to the world. Cacao is a heart opener which means that we can be more emotionally receptive, compassionate, giving, and loving to others, to ourselves, and to all beings and living things around us.

A fun way to be grateful while enjoying the health benefits and taste of Mother Cacao!

Myself! Cacao ceremonies were introduced to me in 2018 by a dear friend and quickly became a part of my daily ritual after traveling to Bali, as I observed the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits it gave me.

Enjoy a warm tasty cup of nutritious cacao and join us as we share a communion of gratitude and self-love!

About Kundalini Yoga

a4dc07eeb78ad0e4d628c485c41760a0

Kundalini is a Sanskrit term from ancient India that identifies the arising of an energy and consciousness which has been coiled at the base of the spine since birth, and is the source of the life force (pranic energy, chi, bio-energy).

Kundalini is all about releasing the kundalini energy in your body using fast movements, invigorating postures, breath exercises, and can involve chanting, mantra, and meditation. It is powerful, intense and beautiful all at the same time!

About Transcendance

The Yoga Barn Ecstatic Dance

Transcendance is a program in which people gather to enjoy music and move freely, also known as ecstatic dancing. Through sound and movement we are able to release tension in our physical and energetic bodies and explore the beauty of movement without judgement. In Transcendance we encourage no alcohol or drugs, and refrain from speaking or taking videos or photos as we want to make everyone feel as comfortable as they can, and without distractions. When you can bring down the walls built by social expectation, you will be able to make a deep connection with your soul and to the music. That is a feeling you won’t forget!

About Sound Healing

gong.jpeg

Imagine being immersed in beautiful sounds that are healing to your body, mind and soul?

Sound Healing is the ancient practice of using sonic frequency aka vibration as a tool to recalibrate the human body, relax the mind, and nourish the soul. With the profound sounds of a gong and crystal bowls, the feeling of peace, heightened awareness, and relaxation of the mind, body and spirit, fill you completely. Some experience emotional healing, and others great insights into their lives. It takes you into deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and an acceleration into your journey within. Time is suspended as you enter a world of vibration, sensation and experience.

Once you’ve had your first Sound Bath, you’ll definitely leave wanting more!

Creamy Cheezie Zucchini

Creamy Cheezie Zucchini

My sister came over the other day and taught me how to make vegan bechamel sauce. Since then I’ve been eating a little bit too much of it, but nevertheless! This recipe will help you put down the dairy and pick up the soy!

While boiling the pasta, heat another pan on low heat and pour a cup of soy milk and a spoon of dairy-free butter (I like to use Nuttelex Original. You can buy this in Landers & SNR)

Stir till the butter has melted and slowly pour in some flour while stirring. It’s important to keep stirring or whisking so that the flour doesn’t clump! Add about half a cup of flour. If you want a thicker sauce add even more flour, and if you want it to be soupy, add less. Play with it!

When you find the right consistency for you, add chopped onions and garlic and continue to stir. Throw in the sliced zucchini and let simmer.

I like to add nutritional yeast to give it a cheezier flavor. Add about two tablespoons. If your sauce has become too thick for your liking, add a dash more soy milk and continue to stir.

You’re nearly done!

Drain your pasta, mix it in with the sauce and add salt and pepper to taste.

There it is! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🥒

Bon appétit!

If you haven’t been, take some time away from General Luna and head up to the Magpupungko rock pools. Its amazing there! Make sure to check the tides so you know when its the best time to go.

After an afternoon there, we found this little guy… so we took him home! Name: Pungko ♥️

My boyfriend’s family have a beautiful place in Pilar, a town located in the middle of Siargao Island. Quiet and right on the water, this is a destination fit for friends and family. Rooms will be available for rent very soon! This is the view from the deck.

Shooting Steph in her SOLTI Activewear reversible bodysuit

Swimming and enjoying the company of friends and family 💙 and of course, watching Mike poi dance…

I don’t leave my room without using my favorite La Mer products, especially the UV Protecting Fluid with SPF 50. Need to keep those sunspots away!

SOLTI Activewear Luli Bodysuit, La Mer essentials, and my favorite scented flip flops from Lookeeya.

Shakin it up at Shaka. My favorite place for juices, power bowls and banana bread.

At our “Secret Beach” that’s not so secret anymore. Still a great place to swim, chill and play silly.

After basking in the sun and enjoying the quiet, we went to Lotus Shores in General Luna. If you’re ever in Siargao, you have to try out this restaurant. They are well known for their delicious vegan menu 🌱👌🏼  and everything was superb.

Lovely as always 🙏🏼 Salamat, Siargao

Ethical activewear by SOLTI

Ethical activewear by SOLTI

Thank you to my friends and family for helping me create this consciously aware fashion line! It has been a journey!

SOLTI became an ethical line naturally; honestly, I wasn’t aware with what I was doing, I was just being me in the process. I like to find ways in which I can help others and the environment, and collecting “waste” fabrics just happened to be part of the creation. I found joy in knowing that every piece of “waste” fabric could be turned into something useful and beautiful for someone else, and that it would make even a small difference in the environmental impact.

I learnt that in China, 26 million tonnes of textile is waste annually! The environmental impact there must be colossal! After visiting landfills here in Cebu, I could just imagine how great our impact to global warming is, and thats when it hit me, I could help make a difference.

camotes4camotes3

Most of our SOLTI pieces are reversible, which also helps you buy less, store less, and pack less when you travel. In Britain, the average person only wears 70% of the clothing in their wardrobe. 30% is a lot of space wasted!

_DC_5622

“All our textiles have been recovered from fabric cast aside by large manufacturers. This reduces the need for landfill space and lessens water and air pollution. Through our holistic approach, our designs are created with you and the planet in mind.”

Cebu

Mix and match your pieces with our individually sold items – SOLTI knows that every body is different and beautiful in their own unique way.

pescador&harem

Though we are focusing on reversible swimwear and activewear clothing at the moment, you can be sure to expect more from SOLTI by the end of the year!

Did you know that each of our Cebuano handmade SOLTI pieces are named after Philippine Islands?
